If you are looking for a coastal getaway Skye offers the perfect escape for a weekend away or family break sleeping up to 10 people, across 5 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Our beach house is opposite Greatstone Beach with sanddunes to the front, the RSPB nature reserve to the rear & the minature steam railway running along the bottom of the large garden. The house offers a tranquil place for all the family to relax including your four legged friends as Greatstone is dog friendly all year round. The space Skye is our family holiday home & is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. You enter the house through the porch into a bright & airy open plan kitchen & cosy lounge. There are two sofas & a farmhouse table that can seat up to 8. With a utility room with back up fridge, sink & washing machine nearer the garden there is also everything on hand to enjoy the BBQ and eat alfresco. The large garden backs onto the miniature railway & is a welcome escape after a busy day at the beach. With a range of outside seating the decking is ideally set up for a BBQ. You can relax on the corner sofa, whilst the kids are chilling out in the hammock or roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. To keep everyone entertained the lounge has a 40” TV & plenty of DVDs to keep the big & little kids happy. With three children of our own the house is equipped with a craft box, colouring & boards games in the hallway for all ages with swing ball, basketball hoop & a boules course for all generations to enjoy in the garden. The porch has everything you will need for a day on the beach with buckets & spades, kites, picnic blankets & a cold box. Guest access You will have full access to the house apart from one room adjacent to the mezzanine bedroom that we use as a store & the garage which is also kept locked. Other things to note Please note wifi is not fast at the Coast there is no fibre or super fast network. We have deco boosters installed throughout the house & all enjoy escaping from our devices when we are at the beach.
