Relax in the woods in our modern-rustic cabin perfect for families & small groups. ~Very close to Art of Living Retreat Center~ Hot tub it under the trees, 2 large decks, open kitchen/living/ w/ gas fireplace, cathedral ceiling, & TV/sleeping loft above. A custom-built, live-edge wood banister provides artsy, natural vibe. Private fenced back yard w/ fire pit, picnic table, hammock & rhododendron forest for the kids to romp in. Blue Ridge Parkway & endless trails just minutes away. The space Our handcrafted log cabin provides 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, an open kitchen/living area, and a sleeping/TV loft. Plus ample outdoor living space. We custom-built this cabin in 2004 & lived here for 11 years while raising our young kids. It is specially-designed for small groups who want to spend quality down time together, close to nature. The upper floor consists of the master suite with a king size bed and full bath with jetted shower/tub. Also found on the upper floor is a cozy loft with room to watch TV or read a book. The couch in the loft folds out for sleeping or getting extra comfy while watching TV. The main floor consists of 2 queen bedrooms and a full bathroom tucked into the hallway. The main floor has access to both the back deck & hot tub, and the upper front covered porch. The covered porch is lovely for visiting and reading to get out of the sun or while listening to the rain. The back deck is spacious and sunny, with a large dining table, grill, sitting chairs and a 5-person hot tub. The back deck provides access to a stone pathway leading to a fully fenced-in, moss-covered back yard, making it also a great area for letting little ones explore. The fenced-in backyard also includes a fire pit perfect for roasting smore's & telling stories, a hammock for catching some zee’s, Adirondack chairs, and a pic-nic table. Guest access Guests are exclusively provided the upper 2 floors of the cabin, the back deck with grill & hot tub, the front upper covered deck and the fenced-in backyard with fire pit. Guests will enter the house from the back of the cabin, by walking up the stairs to the back deck. Guests will be provided a key code for the back door lock. Parking - There is only room for 2 AirBnb guest cars at the house. Guests must park on right side of driveway only. Our downstairs resident parks on the left side. Other things to note The lower level of the home is occupied by a respectable, quiet professional resident. Other than shared parking, the spaces are completely private and separated, with no access either way. No need to worry about sound though, feel free to enjoy yourself as long as it’s not a wild party. We have lived in Boone for over 30 years and can’t say enough great things about this home, neighborhood, and town. The Art of Living Retreat Center is a 2 minute drive, or even walking distance for those who are so inclined. This is a non-smoking property. Let us know if you have questions!
