Welcome to the Veitch Cottage in Sauble Beach. Newly built in 2020, our stunning house is just a 5 minute walk to the north end of Sauble Beach. You can hear the waves crash from the front steps, so grab a coffee or cocktail and take it all in. The space With just over 2100 sq feet interior, our house sits on a wooded lot with new and very mature trees, in north Sauble which is known for being peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a family get away (or two families!). Outside: We have an outdoor shower to help wash away the sand for when you get back from the beach. There are two fire pits, a natural gas table on the back patio and a wood burning pit in the front, surrounded by muskoka chairs. The front and back patio are mostly covered so if it rains, you can still enjoy sitting outside with your family by the fire. We have a gas BBQ and outdoor picnic tables for dining. Sleeping: All linens, duvets and pillows provided during stay. After a long day at the beach, come home to 4 comfy bedrooms that all have their own linens and duvets. All bedrooms are equipped with a full length mirror and closet for easy clothing storage. The principle bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The best part, all bedrooms have black out blinds, which are perfect for settling kids into bed (or sleeping in). We also have a pop up crib and two crib mattresses for your young ones to use. There is a ceiling fan in each bedroom. Inside: Large, fully equipped kitchen with seating for 8. Also includes baby high chair and toddler chair. There are three fridges, the main one in the kitchen, bar fridge in the island and a fridge in the garage. Two and a half beautiful bathrooms. Spacious living room with tons of seating, ceiling fan and an amazing view of the property with windows almost covering floor to ceiling. Comes with an inside fire place to warm up on chilly nights. Entire house has in-floor heating and the bedroom wing has its own heating thermostat to personalize your preference -Wifi and cable television -DVD player (bring your favourite DVDs to watch!) -Smart TV with available apps that you can use to sign into your favourite streaming services -Children toys -Cards and boardgames -Iron board and Iron -Ping pong table for use in the garage -Ice maker -We have municipal water but also installed a filter for drinking water -Green wagon to use for bringing your accessories to the beach Guest access Full access to the entire house, aside from one closet. The garage is used for outdoor storage, kids beach toys etc. You can use the garage, except for parking your car. There is comfortable parking for 4 cars in the driveway. You cannot park on the street as per by laws. Other things to note Children under the age of three do not count in the total guests, up to a max of 3. In our total, HST (13%) is included as well as MAT (4%), Municipal Accommodation Taxes which was implemented by the township in 2021.
