2-Bedroom Home, 7 Minutes From Stratton Mountain

Welcome to our two-bedroom ski getaway that comfortably sleeps six and is located in quaint Jamaica, Vermont. We're a mere seven-minute drive to Stratton Mountain. Slightly farther are Magic Mountain (17-minute drive), Bromley Mountain (20-minute drive) and Mt. Snow (27-minute drive). In the summer months, Jamaica State Park and the West River Trail are easily accessible as well. The space Our cozy country home comfortably sleeps six people. There is one queen bed in the primary bedroom and a bunk bed in the second bedroom with a full bed, twin overhead and twin trundle. There is additional bedding for the couch if desired. Washer and dryer is available for use free of charge. The dining room table seats four and there is kitchen counter seating for two. The living room has a couch, leather chair and additional areas to kick back and warm up by the fire after a day of skiing or shredding. The living area hosts the wood burning stove. Firewood will be provided for initial needs; once used please supplement with your own. The rest of the house has electric baseboard radiator heating. The bedrooms are warmed with the electric heating and the living and kitchen area is best heated combining the electric heat and wood burning stove. In summer months there is a window unit air conditioner. Our spacious kitchen features a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. The kitchen is stocked with gently used plates, glasses, mugs, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Drip coffee maker and pour over coffee maker are provided; please bring your own coffee. Instant Pot is also provided. Guest access You will need a car to get around the towns and mountains. The driveway to the house is pitched but plowed continuously during snowstorms. We recommend a four-wheel drive car, especially in inclement weather. Other things to note When we are in the home our cat comes with us. You will not see any visible evidence of the cat, but if you have cat allergies please be aware in case you will be affected.
