Well appointed lake house just a stone's throw from the public boat launch and ATV/ Snowmobile trails. Enjoy the private, sandy (very shallow) swimming area ideal for young children and relaxing adults. Centrally located for outdoor recreation: whitewater rafting, boating, canoeing on the Kennebec or golf in the summer; hunting, fishing, or leaf peeping in the fall; or ice fishing, skiing, or snowmobiling in the winter. There are also several mapped ATV/UTV trails to explore. We have it all! * PLEASE NOTE: ** Accomodations have changed; now sleeps 8, not 10. KEYLESS ENTRY. You will be given your temporary code when it is time to check in. It will be active for the duration of your stay. This home sleeps 8. There are 3 levels, (stairs) and several steps up to the porch to get inside. There are no beds on the middle level. The upper level has a california king sized bed. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, each with queen sized beds and there is also a twin bed with another pull out twin bed / trundle bed, in the smaller family/TV room. There are 2 full bathrooms. The bath on the middle level, off the kitchen has s a tub/ shower combo, and a washer and dryer. The bath on the lower level has a shower. Mini split systems supply air conditioning and accessory heat when needed. A screened porch with gas grill, large front lawn, and a beautiful dock with 2 tandem kayaks, and 4 inflatable stand-up paddleboards complete this family-friendly vacation home. An assortment of life jackets is provided, as well. There is ample parking for several cars and/or your boat/ ATV trailer. There are onsite outdoor cameras for added security. There is also a full house automatic generator in case of power loss. There is a general store with gas, propane, and a small kitchen nearby to purchase forgotten necessities, fuel up, or grab a bite. Larger stores are within 20-25 minute drive. Refrigerator, Oven/Stove Microwave/ Dishwasher 12cup Coffee Maker/Filters Basic Spices Dinnerware, Glassware, Pots and Pans, Utensils Cookie Sheet, Muffin Tin Blender, Mixer, Waffle Iron. Washer, Dryer, Iron/Board Clothesline, Hairdryer Basic, limited laundry detergent, dishsoap and handsoap. Basic, limited trashbags, toilet paper and paper towels Linens, bath towels and wash cloths Beach towels This is a quiet spot on the pond. There is a mix of full-time residents, seasonal residents, and vacationers. Please be respectful of all. Quiet time is 10:00 p.m. DO NOT DIVE OFF DOCK!! It is very shallow. If you have a boat, watch CAREFULLY for rocks; there are some very large ones which are marked with bouys. Trash pickup is Wed. a.m.. Please take all trash and recyclables to the old brown shed at the top of the driveway and put it in the bins behind the door. Please latch the door to deter animals. Firewood is also available up at the brown shed for your use. Please use only what you need. We do not have fire starter or kindling. The 2 tandem kayaks, 4 inflatable stand-up paddle boards, paddles, and life vests are in the brown shed by the generator. The key is hanging up by the front door. There is a $50 lost key charge, so please return it to its spot. Please return all water toys and games to the shed upon your departure. Thank you FYI: All water toys need to have a life jacket on board while on the water. The Wardens will ticket you if you do not have one on board with you. The dock chairs, table, and umbrellas are there for your enjoyment (and ours), so please be gentle with them. We have several plastic outdoor chairs for the porch, lawn, and dock. Please, no metal chairs on the dock. The water is lake drawn and is subject to a high-tech filtration system and UV light sanitation. It is safe to drink and is tested regularly. You will notice a long black hose extending into the lake. PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THIS LINE. There will likely be leftover propane for the grill from prior guests. However, in the case that the propane runs out, it will be the guest responsibility to refill. You can purchase / swap out for a filled tank at Vicneire's general store in North Anson or the Solon Market in Solon. Lawn maintenance is every 2 weeks done by a super nice guy; Thurs., Fri., or Sat., weather permitting. This takes less than 45 minutes. No smoking inside the home or on the porch, please. No pets. I have 2 dogs and I realize that they are family, but, No exceptions; sorry.
