This unique and tranquil getaway is the perfect retreat for solitude trips, couples/friends/or families. @KoiLodgeRereat The space Originally built in 1952, The Koi Lodge is set on an acre of mystical trees filled with pine and maple, the original cottage entrance is what is now the “beach access” side. The 1952 cottage got a major facelift in the late 80’s, again in the 2000’s and most recently, 2015. Commissioned by a renowned legendary visionary and artist, The Allegretti Group built a sustainable-in nature, holistic oasis that we’re proud to now call a sanctuary. The Koi Lodge isn’t a place for parties and large gatherings. Rather, it is a sanctuary for you to re-connect with calm, serenity and nature or jump start new habits. Yoga, meditation and naps are encouraged. We have 4 infamous koi, all loved by kids to adults, in real-life and social media. They’re rambunctious, love to poke their heads out of the water when you walk around the pond and most have names we’ve coined or given by guests that visit. The home and its memories of the past remain in the home through the furnishings, art and decor. The landscape pays homage to the many that have truly made this home a year-round retreat, from summer flowers blooming to the delicate snow that sits on the pines in the winter. Guest access Whether you’re the active type or more of a R&R personality, there’s an array of activities for you and your small group. You can hike, cuddle by the fire, sled on snow days or snow-shoe through the dunes by the lake. Or simply, do nothing within the confines of our quiet and peaceful property. You will have access to the entire property, not including some locked closets for overflow supplies.
