North Point Pods is in the most Northern Hamlet of Scotland and offers a perfect base, to explore Caithness and NC500. At NPP, you can enjoy some rest and tranquility on our rustic site, making s'mores on the fire pit, playing board games, reading our books or settling for the night with a movie. There are no shops or pubs within walking distance so remember to bring food and drink with you or indulge in our optional extras! No.1 is pet free and No.2 is pet friendly. The space North Point Pods was designed to provide an affordable glamping experience for small groups and families whilst travelling in Caithness or adventuring the NC500. At North Point Pods, you won't find hot tubs or sea views from your window, but what you will find, is everything you need to rest, relax and recharge on your travels whilst making wonderful memories. Just 1 mile off of the NC500 route, we have two cosy and comfortable pods onsite, No.1 and No.2, each sleeping 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. The pods are sited on a large area of land with horses in the fields next door. This space offers a safe environment for children to play or dogs to run about. Please note-only no.2 is dog friendly-poo bags are provided for the stay. The pods offer a view of tranquil countryside with a view of the Castle of Mey in the distance on the hill. To the north, you will see the Pentland Firth with views of Stroma and Orkney. Guests will have their own parking space next to their pod plus use of their own camp fire area with log seats. Inside the pods, you will find a double bed and a double sofa bed. Our new 32 inch televisions and Wifi allow you to stream your favourite shows, made even better by complimentary access to Disney plus and Spotify. Books about Caithness, games and a bluetooth speak means you'll never run out of things to do.
