The Stables loft retreat in the Fowey countryside

Set in the grounds of Polglaze surrounded by ANOB countryside, The Stables is a cosy loft style cottage for up to 4 people with it's own private garden, patio, decking and ample free parking across the garden. Nearby are visits to the ancient ports of Fowey, Lostwithiel, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark's Charlestown; walks along the coast and Estuary; kayak or boat adventures; several local beaches to rest and play on; galleries to view and interesting boutique shops to explore. The space The rooms are cosy, comfortable and offer all that is required for a break near Fowey and in Cornwall. The two bedrooms offer alternative arrangements of king size beds or single beds, the standard configuration is 1 king size in the front bedroom overlooking the garden and 2 singles in the back bedroom (2) overlooking the neighbouring barn conversation. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom has no bath but a flexible shower unit. There are hooks on the bedroom and bathroom doors and a cloak area in the entrance hall. Bring your own beach towels, but all normal towels and linen are provided as well as all the basics for cleaning and using the kitchen and bathroom. There are wardrobes for clothes and storage under the beds for bags and suitcases, but our guests often tell us they only ever use a fraction of what they packed. We also have a large grocery store and laundry station just 5 mins away. Other things to note There are lots of things to do and see near by including visits to the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark's Charlestown; walks along the coast and the Fowey Estuary; kayaking and boating adventures; several local beaches to rest and play on; galleries to view and interesting home and gift shops to explore. Surrounded by AONB (areas of natural beauty) to relax in, play in or create - painting, drawing and photographing - or from where to explore and do a little sight seeing.
