The space Our property is located on the outskirts of Wollongong within a quiet residential area. The charming studio style guesthouse features a comfortable queen bed in the main living space and a single bed in a cozy adjoining room near the bathroom. It’s the perfect space for two guests but can accomodate three. Just 5 minutes away from the Wollongong's CBD's shopping delights and loads of dining options. Easy 10 minute drive to the harbour and beaches of Wollongong. The guesthouse offers a tranquil view to surrounding neighbouring trees, ensuring a serene atmosphere. While the guesthouse doesn't boast a full kitchen, it features a well equipped kitchenette complete with a kettle, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with a freezer, dishwasher, and all essential utensils. Although there is no stove or oven, you'll find handy appliances such as a sandwich press and a small electric fry pan. Our pantry is stocked with essential items, including teas, coffee, sugar, vegemite, peanut butter, jam, honey, oil, vinegar, tomato & BBQ sauces, salt, and pepper. Additionally, we provide some cereal and milk for you to enjoy during your stay. Ample free street parking is available in our neighbourhood. While the property itself is fairly level, our street is positioned at the top of a steep incline. This elevated position brings a lovely afternoon sea breeze and a peaceful outlook, however it can be challenging to walk if you are arriving on foot or without a car. For this reason, we recommend having a vehicle for ease of access during your stay. Guest access You have exclusive use of the guesthouse, situated at the side of our primary residence, separate from the main house. The building stands independently, unattached to our home however it is accessed by walking past our family home. While we do our very best to respect your privacy at all times, we want to be open that this may not suit guests seeking a completely secluded or standalone accommodation. ***If full seclusion is important to you, this may not be the right fit, and we encourage you to consider this before booking. Other things to note A 600-metre stroll to Keiraville Village, where you'll find three distinct cafes, an IGA supermarket, butcher, post office, chemist, bottle shop, hairdresser, beauty salon, and gift shop. An effortless walk to Wollongong Botanical Gardens (approximately 15 minutes) and the University (around 20 minutes). Hilly ascent home. The nearest bus stop is approximately 500 meters away, or you can access the Free Gong Shuttle Bus stop from the University or Gwynneville, both within a 20-30 minute easy walk.
