The Blue Barn in the Surrey Hills

An hour south of London lie the Surrey Hills, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. English countryside at its best for nature-lovers, walkers, cyclists, traditional pub-goers. Set in protected woodlands, on the grounds of The Old Barn, a Tudor barn conversion, the Blue Barn was built as an annex housing garages and a studio apartment, complete with a separate kitchen, laundry and dining area. A one acre meadow is available for picnics, barbecues and outdoor relaxation. Solid oak floors, cosy and warm. Recently refurbished with hotel grade beds that can be made up as a king or two twins. Sofa bed also available. Full kitchen with boot hall, dining area and laundry. Guests may use the studio en-suite bedroom and kitchen/laundry/dining room.. Guests may also use the one acre meadow with picnic area The Old Barn is my principle residence so I will often be available on the property if need be. Extraordinary location set in beautiful forests with views of the South Downs. Excellent foodie pubs nearby. Stunning National Trust properties to visit in the region.
