This property is in a secluded residential area and is NOT a destination for events, groups larger than 4 people, any noisy outdoor activity or music, or anyone who cannot respect the local speed limits. The space The Lookout is a modern architect-designed home on a beautiful 6-acre lot overlooking Lake Superior. The main level has a great room, a fully-equipped open kitchen, a 3/4 bath and two bedrooms. One bedroom with a queen bed and 75" Samsung smart TV, dedicated workspace. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The modern kitchen has plenty of natural light and is equipped with all the amenities needed for cooking meals. The great room in the main level is an extraordinary space, simultaneously riveting and tranquil. It was designed by the firm of RoehrSchmitt Architects to open up the space to the surrounding jaw-dropping scenery. Up a flight of stairs is a lookout. The "tower" is an 8x11-foot cedar-lined room with beautiful views of Lake. Relax in a rocking chair to watch passing ships, read a book or enjoy your morning coffee. It is outside on the garage. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, except for the basement. Other things to note We are under a strict probationary short term rental license, and we jealously guard our neighbors' peace and quiet. Please read the house rules on noise, and speeding on the road. Please do NOT reserve if you're looking for a party site or cannot honor our house rules. ALSO: We do not allow pets in the home. The owners suffer from allergies and follow a religious dictum against the presence of animals inside the home.
