Settled in the hills of Tshani, South Africa, Vukani is an establishment that is built on rural and cultural immersion. There is a small restaurant and bar, beautiful outdoor showers, flourishing vegetable gardens, chickens, and 5 incredibly friendly dogs. Just a short walk away is one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Africa. There's surfing, kayaking and fishing to be enjoyed. There will be plenty of dolphins and whales to see out there and on the many hikes right on your doorstep. The space Vukani is special in that it's intimate. Accommodation only 25-30 people, one gets the sense of family and friends sharing one large holiday home, although it still feels very private. We let guests get involved in our projects if they wish, working away in the garden. There's a local Shebeen (African bar) nearby for the brave hearted, a local restaurant and an exquisite beach nearby with world class surf. Definitely worth visiting. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy our large wooden deck which boasts a beautiful view of both sea and river vista's. There is ample parking available inside. Toilets and showers are communal, as well as the dorm room and communal kitchen, but all other accommodation is private.
