Our family home is located in the picturesque village of Holbeton, only 2 miles from the beach, and in the middle of the beautiful south hams countryside. Our home combines the cosy Devon cottage with contemporary open plan living. We have a large country garden with chickens, plus a view across traditional thatched roofs and coastal countryside.. The space Our home would be ideal for a family holiday, and is perfect for exploring the great outdoors. Make the most of the charming local beaches of Mothecombe (5 minutes), Bigbury and Bantham (15 minutes). Ideal for all water sports including surfing, SUP, kayaking, kite surfing, lovely sea swims, rockpooling, sand castles or just relaxing near the waves. There are miles of rambling footpaths along the coast, lanes and bridleways through the wild local countryside. You can cycle, run or walk straight from the door along hidden lanes and byeways with wild garlic and hazy views. The nearby towns of Modbury, Totnes and Salcombe offer great days out, and with the moors of Dartmoor also close, there are endless options for your time in Devon. We offer 4 bedrooms, (1 king, 1 double, 1 bunk bed and a single) 2 bathrooms (inc walk in shower and roll top bath), a large contemporary kitchen, utility, a spacious living room with open fire, and the essential boot room. Outside, we have a large garden, a patio area, outdoor furniture, barbecue, table tennis, and an outside shower to wash off the sand. We also have 3 chickens which are incredibly easy to look after, and will provide you with fresh eggs. Guest access We want you to use our family home as your own. Please feel free to use our kayak, body boards, surf boards, table tennis, and our wide selection of books and games. Other things to note There is parking for 1 car directly outside the property.
