Set in a small village - La Châtaigne (a former farm house) is a lovely old Charantaise house filled with character features. It is the main house on a small complex sharing the garden & pool (open July to September, not heated) with three other gîtes. The space The downstairs area is open plan and comprises a fully fitted kitchen through an archway, together with a log burner for the colder months in the lounge area, plus downstairs WC. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, and a third bedroom with one set of bunkbeds and a single bed, plus a family bathroom. Sloping ceilings and beams add an abundance of character. Guest access Shared pool with garden and play area. Three other gites on site. Other things to note Rural village, no amenities.
