Newly constructed 350-square-foot modern east Austin guest house conveniently located six miles from downtown Austin and eight miles from the airport. Located in a safe, friendly and diverse neighborhood with good people. A mile and a half to the popular Mueller mixed-use community featuring restaurants, theater, children's museum, Sunday farmers' market, and more. Close to major highways and bus stops. The space Welcome to your relaxing Austin getaway at our guest house! Sit at the patio table on the front porch to watch your pups enjoy the small, grassy, fenced-off yard space. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest on the comfy king-sized bed. A Keurig coffee station with a variety of coffees to choose from will get your mornings started off right. Enjoy a meal or play one of our board games on the two-person table with a leaf extension for extra space. Relax in the cozy orange armchair while reading a book from our provided selection. Sign into your streaming account to watch your favorite shows on the 50-inch TV. You'll also find a yoga mat, resistance band, and 10 lb dumbbells if you want to get in a workout during your stay. And wifi! Guest access The guest house has a private entrance with a coded lock for entry and a one-way deadbolt for an added sense of security. The guest house and small yard are fenced off from the rest of the property. Other things to note We have two dogs: Rin is a German Shepard Mix, and Ippo is a Pit Bull mix. Both are very sweet and love people, though Rin may bark when she first sees you as German Shepherds are wont to do! The guest house is fenced off from the rest of the yard, but you may see and hear our fur babies greet you when you enter the property. We never leave them outside when we aren't home and we monitor them closely to ensure they do not disturb your stay. Also, the sprinkler system in our backyard runs from 2-3am. Please note, we used to rent a room in our home on Airbnb, and this listing is an evolution of the previous listing. So you will see a lot of (positive!) reviews but all reviews prior to September 2022 are referring to the room in our home, not the new guest house.
