Come to Coldspring located next to the Sam Houston Forest and on Lake Livingston. Enjoy wine tasting or hiking trails that lead to Double Lake. A small spa just opened. Bring your boat if you want to enjoy the lake or fish for white bass and catfish. There is a private boat ramp and fishing pier within walking distance of the house. Our crystal clear community pool is open from May 1st through September 31st. The tree lighting, Christmas on the Square is always the second weekend in December. I have 2 bedrooms available for up to 4 people. One room offers a king bed with a partial lake view and one bedroom offers a queen bed with a forest view. Both rooms have TVs and WiFi and private decks. The bathroom is shared. Price listed is per room. Guests will have access to the kitchen. Extended weekly guests will have access to the laundry. I’ll be on the main floor when not working and available to answer questions or make suggestions during your stay. I have 2 rooms and a private bathroom where I hang out and usually make myself scarce so my guests have more privacy. I live in a small but desirable neighborhood on Lake Livingston with a combination of architecture and home values. You will see fine lakefront homes, rustic homes and some modern cabin style homes. You’ll need a car or bicycle to get around. I’m 2.2 miles from the town square. There is hiking nearby, several wineries within an hours drive, farmers market on the square every Saturday. Restaurants are The Mason Jar, The Hop, Taco Express, the Paradise Grill and during crawfish season Lil E’s (fresh shrimp too) and all have varying hours. Only 1, The Paradise Grill is open on Sunday (from 6am until 3pm). KLN Spa recently opened offering massage, reflexology massage, facials and brow waxing to mention a few services.
