Alpine Chalets - Large Top Floor Chalet

Affordable accommodation located in the heart of the Tongariro National Park Village. Alpine Chalets are located amongst mature native trees and gardens. Each room has an en-suite bathroom plus kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery for your convenience. All rooms have spectacular views of Mt Ngaruahoe, Tongariro and Ruapehu. We are just a short distance from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and skiing at the Whakapapa ski field, Mt Ruapehu. The space There are two large top floor rooms each with two queen beds. The standard rooms have a queen bed and two single bunk beds. The bunk beds, one up and one down, are adult bunks. Guest access We are a five minute walk from the train station. If you are hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing during the summer months, the shuttle bus can pick you up and drop you off directly across the road from our driveway.
