Direct access to Newgale Blue Flag beach, this light bright property is attractively furnished; new comfortable beds and 100% cotton sheets and towels. You will be served a selection of fruits, fruit juice, yoghurts, cereals, preserves, butter, sourdough toast, milk, tea/coffee). Please advise on dietary allergies in advance.. The space This is a single storey property with direct access to two miles of golden sandy Blue Flag beach. It has magnificent, uninterrupted views looking out south west to the islands of Skomer, Grassholm and Ramsey Island to the north. The views are truly beautiful and quite soporific. They never fail to captivate the guests. There is plenty of driveway parking. The accommodation comprises a kingsize bed in a bright light large south facing room looking directly onto the beach which is accessed from the bottom of the garden. (Beyond Skomer and Ramsey Island can be seen). There are two bedside tables on top of which are reading lamps and coasters for your beverages. There is a a fitted wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. The room is tastefully and simply decorated and furnished. There is a cotton bedside rug either side of the bed. The floors are painted floorboards. Depending on weather conditions and the tide, you could be falling asleep or waking up to the sound of the tide crashing on to or lapping up to the pebble bank at the bottom of the garden. Proximity to the beach (accessed directly from the garden by steps leading to the pebble bank) is a feature which guests appreciate very much. You must be stable on your feet to be able to negotiate the pebbles to access the golden sand. Guest access Your room and separate shower room are for your exclusive use. You will share the dining area with other guests and family members. You have use of the terrace outside your bedroom. A welcome drink will be offered upon arrival. This is our family home and we are unable to offer use of the kitchen for food prep. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Our place is great for people who love the beach, coastal walks, bird watching and exploring nature. Just walk out of the door and you are on the beach or a hop skip and a jump onto the coastal path. Access to the beach is on a pebble bank of stones - you must be stable on your feet to be able to navigate this. Surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, jumping the waves are all activities catered for by the local surf shops, Ghe Big Blue and Newsurf which hires out equipment. The Coastal Path is 2 minutes away and a walk to Solva is 2 hours; onward to St Davids is four hours. Your Arrival By foot via the coastal path By bus - traws cymru local bus service and fflecsi. By train - mainline Haverfordwest By car - A487 Most importantly ENJOY! During your stay We are a busy family and live at the property too, offering you as much advice and support as we can. Interaction is always on arrival and over breakfast. Other things to note From June to September there is a RNLI life guard stationed everyday on the beach. This property is not suitable for children under 17 or for dogs - we have a cat at the property. Skomer Looking over to Skomer Island, well known for its wildlife; around half the world’s population of Manx shearwaters nest there also there is an Atlantic puffin colony - the largest in southern Britain. Skomer is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Protection Area. St Davids - Britain's smallest city is just up the road - a 20 minute bus/car ride.
