Rosie's Retreat Udaipur is a private property located in the old city just a minutes walk from the City Palace and within walking distance of tourist attractions, restaurants and a variety of shops. My guests benefit from an intimate and independent stay with support when needed. It is located on a quiet no traffic side street. The Courtyard Studio and the Lake Facing Lakeside Apartment can be rented together if guests require the whole property for 4 guests. Full tourist information is offered in a folder in the room. The Courtyard Studio does not have a lake view. The Courtyard Studio is the whole ground floor of Rosie's Retreat. The entrance to the room is from the central courtyard of the property. It is an enormous room, measuring 28 feet by 15 feet, divided into a bedroom and dressing area and a drawing room area. It is extremely comfortable and cosy being furnished with an eclectic mix of locally sourced antiques and vintage treasures. The bed is a standard European/US double and is dressed with lovely hand block printed cotton bedsheets and quilt and cosy pillows. There is a large wardrobe, a writing desk, two sofas, an armchair and a rocking chair. There is a fridge, toaster and an electric kettle. The ensuite shower room boasts' the best power shower in India', a washbasin and loo. Handmade dressing gowns are provided for guests use during their stay and a hair dryer. The water tank is one thousand litres and heated tank is fifty litres at one time. If you use all the hot water please allow the hot water heater a short time to reheat between showers. There is an inverter power back up in case of power cuts. It does not power the AC or the Wifi. The room is fully air conditioned. There is also a fan and a room heater. There is secure paid parking at Kamal Niwas, Bhatiyani Chohatta, just five minutes walk from Rosie's Retreat or the rickshaw drivers charge 100 to 150 rupees for the journey. This car park neither belongs to us, nor is it managed by us, hence we are not responsible for their charges. A member of our staff will assist with luggage. Rosie's Retreat is approximately 1 hour from Udaipur airport. Aditya on our travel desk can assist with all travel arrangements. We offer airport pick up and drop off at an extra charge.
