The 9' dining table overlooks flowering gardens in summer and snow-kissed meadows in winter. The space **Escape to the Green Mountains** Cabin-style window panes offer brief glimpses of the Green Mountains from each room, making this little cottage a great place to escape the concrete jungle and enjoy some quiet time. The home is heated principally with propane and offers optional wood heat via a lovely old stove, along with a plentiful supply of locally harvested firewood. Our front lawn, once considered for use as a landing strip for a private plane, gently slopes away—opening up to a broad vista of mountains and offering a spectacular array of bright hues, particularly in autumn. The property provides immediate access to plush woodlands. Private nature trails meander through the woods to a babbling mountain brook, offering a place for quiet reflection. Don’t be surprised if a wild turkey or two cross your path as you explore your own private woods. Vacation rentals of more than three days will allow access to the laundry room (washer and dryer).
