It is the basement unit of our personal home where we live on the first floor. There is a private entrance and parking. Large rooms - kitchen, living room, full bath and bedroom are all yours! The space The apartment is large and spacious, but we only allow for a maximum of 2 guests at any time during your stay. This is the basement apartment of our home, so this is important that you understand and can abide by this rule. The living room has a comfortable couch and Roku TV that you can stream your own channels. Internet is strong. We have a desk if you need to study or work from the space, also in the living room. Walk down the hallway past the full bath and into the kitchen. The bedroom is off the kitchen at the very end of the apartment. Guest access You will have full access to the apartment and it is completely private. We live on the first floor and will leave you completely alone, unless you want to interact with us or need anything. There are steps up to our home that will be locked at all times. Other things to note We are excited to open up this space to Airbnb guests. We have been Super Hosts for 11 plus years and used to host Airbnb in our guest rooms of our old house when we lived downtown. We now live in Gardenside, which is a quiet and wonderful neighborhood that is so centrally located. 5 minutes from the airport and Keeneland, 3 miles to downtown and less to the University of Kentucky. The Kentucky Horse Park is 20 minutes away (10 miles). Only Breck and I live on the first floor, although we do have guests and family visit who are in the area. Most of the time it is just the 2 of us. We are very mindful of your privacy and space. Also please note that we DO NOT ALLOW bookings with locals as we have had bad experience with that. If you message us ahead of time and let us know why you are booking and live locally, we will consider allowing it. It is also NOT pet friendly and there is NO smoking in the unit or near the back door. You must be at least 23 years old to book our apartment. Thank you for your cooperation.
