Log Cabin on Goose Lake near WI Dells

Enjoy this charming lakefront 4 bedroom log cabin. Just 25 minutes north of the Dells. Perfect for one large family or two families. Indoor entertainment includes Wifi, smart TVs and a movie library as well as board games/puzzles and a video game system. Outdoors, relax on the covered front porch, enjoy the lake view off the deck, and watch the sunset give way to a spectacular display of stars as you sit around the campfire with family & friends. Cascade/Devil’s Head about 30-40 minutes away. Other things to note Goose Lake is an 81 acre lake located in Adams County. It has a maximum depth of 18 feet. There is a public boat landing near the public beach not far from our property. Fish include Bass, Northern Pike and Panfish. Great bluegill fishing off the dock! Wildlife commonly seen at the lake are Geese, Herons, Sandhill Cranes, Turtles, Deer and many more! Please note: Our property sits on the channel of the lake. Just a quick boat ride to where the lake opens up. Across from the property is a conservatory area where you will see and hear lots of wildlife. You can swim off the dock, but if you prefer a sandy beach bottom head to Goose Lake public beach, just a short walk away. Goose Lake is a popular destination for fishing, observing wildlife, canoeing, kayaking, and many other watersport activities.  Normal wake hours are 11am-5:30pm everyday. The water on Goose lake is clean and fish are healthy. However, please note that further into summer months the lake becomes more weedy especially on the channel where our cabin sits. The lake does have a weed harvester but just like mowing your grass in the summer it looks better for a week and needs to be mowed again. This is out of our control. If you are looking for pristine water views this lake is not for you. The weeds do not affect usage of kayaks or pedal boat. You can absolutely still use them just a short ride out to where the lake opens up. We provide 2 kayaks and a four seater pedal boat for your use free of charge (life jackets provided)
