This originally 3 bedroom home has been stylishly converted into a 2 bedroom apartment downstairs and a 1 bedroom apartment upstairs, both with their separate entrances. The space Located in a quaint and quiet town just outside of Fort Wayne you’ll be close enough to all that Fort Wayne has to offer but just far enough away to enjoy small town relaxation. The popular Heyerley’s Bakery is just 2 blocks away! Entering the home you’ll be greeted by a large living room somewhat open to the kitchen area. A window opening between the kitchen and living room allow guests to socialize and view the television while sitting at the bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, and bakeware and the necessary items for extended stays and enough coffee to brew several pots/cups of coffee on the flex brew. The bathroom has a tub and shower with hand held shower head with plenty of towels for everyone. There is a washer and dryer on site that is easily accessible off of the kitchen but keep in mind it is a shared area with the upstairs apartment. Guest access Guests access the home with code entry so there’s no exchange of keys. The lock company sends a personalized code to reserving guest upon reservation confirmation. Guests will have total access of the downstairs (2 bedrooms) and the shared laundry room. This unit is able to access the laundry room thru a door in the kitchen without the need to walk around the house. The door can be locked to avoid anyone entering from the laundry room. Other things to note We ask that guests do not smoke on the premises as the smell creeps into the house with opening and closing the door. There will be an additional $250 cleaning fee charged at check out if the house or linens smell of smoke. Please note body wash is not provided. The house is located behind a dog grooming/boarding facility and barking or dog whining may be heard if sleeping with windows open. The house is 1/2 block from the main road going thru Ossian so you may experience traffic noise. You will also encounter noise from the wooden floors in the upstairs unit when someone is walking around. This is an older home and doesn’t boast much sound dampening.
