The Deer Cabin is a 12x15' cabin two double beds. The cabin uses solar power to charge your devices and the lights in the cabin. In winter the cabin is heated with a furnace that keeps the cabin warm and toasty. The cabin has a private fire pit, BBQ and eating area. The screened porch is a perfect place to sit and relax. There's a dining area with a picnic table, BBQ and cooler stand. Firewood, kindling and propane are all provided for you. The cabin is surrounded by woods and Moose often visit the fence in the mornings. The Deer Cabin has everything you need for a simple getaway.  There's a table and chairs inside and chairs on the screened porch.  The cabin uses solar power and has a place to charge your device, and has lots of lights.  There's a large water bottle in the cabin for drinking and cooking water.  The cabin is stocked with all the supplies you might need - cooking pots, dishes, cutlery, utensils, fire starters and bug supplies.  All your cooking can be done on the BBQ that has a side burner.  Or you can cook on your private fire pit.  In winter the cabin is heated by a furnace that keeps the cabin toasty. Guest access Please park in the parking lot. We like to greet guests and show them to their cabin. But if we miss you, there will be a wagon in the parking lot to help you bring your things to the cabin. There are signs to help you find your cabin. The Deer Cabin is up out of the parking lot and to the left by the trees. All guests at Trailhead Cabins have access to our property. Each cabin has a private fire pit and BBQ. You can walk our trails, visit with other guests and explore - with your furry friends if they come along with you. Make sure to check out the Trading Post and Tuck Shop by the parking lot. The Trading Post has lots of things you can borrow while you're here, like games, snowshoes and blankets for by the campfire. The Tuck Shop is our little shop to send you home with some memorabilia or treats for during your stay. Other things to note The Deer Cabin is "off grid". However, the cabin is fully solar powered. It has lights and a place to charge your devices. There is no running water, but has a large bottle of water for cooking and drinking. The outhouse is just next to the cabin and is stocked with supplies you might need. There is a brand new BBQ with a side burner for all your cooking needs. We provide everything you might need - cooking pots, dishes, cutlery, utensils etc. Firewood, kindling are provided as is propane for the BBQ.
