Welcome to the Byre, a cosy self contained home surrounded by fields and beautiful far reaching views over farmland, Ben Wyvis and Fyrish. With its own private entrance, deck and garden you can enjoy a peaceful and calm getaway and enjoy amazing sunsets, starry nights and if you're lucky, sightings of the Aurora Borealis or the 'Merry Dancers' The space * UPDATE* We are honouring our current bookings for our guests but regrettably will be leaving this platform due to its continued business operating in Israel's illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory. We will be joining ethical and just sites to continue offering our beautiful byre for people to enjoy in the future. *WE ARE CURRENTLY UPDATING OUR LISTING> PLEASE KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR NEW PHOTOS OF YOUR SLEEPING SPACE* *There is no longer a sofa *and the bed is now on the ground floor. The Byre is open plan with a separate toilet and shower room off the main space. The bedroom/lounge area and kitchen are on the ground floor. There is a wood burning stove for extra cosiness and a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, cooker and hob , microwave and a table and chairs for dining. Guest access You have your own private entrance and outdoor space. The entire Byre is yours for your stay. Other things to note We'll provide teas and coffee for your stay and on your arrival homemade cake (vegan) We also provide cooking oil, salt and pepper, porridge and sugar. We'll provide a basket of logs and kindling for the wood burning stove. ( If you run out we can sell you more if you need or you can buy locally) *Winter stays* The Byre does not have central heating. It is heated via the woodburner and there is an electric heater if needed. We have a lovely rescue cat named Mike. He is friendly but please don't allow him into the Byre. We love animals but are keeping the space pet free so those with allergies can also enjoy it. There is space for you to park outside the Byre. There will be a key for you. * Very Important* Our home and yours for your stay uses a Septic tank. This means that ONLY toilet paper must go into the toilet. Other detergents or items should NOT be put into the toilet and should be put into the waste bin provided.
