Take it easy at this unique and tranquil historical coastal house by Pungo River in Belhaven, NC - The birthplace of the Intracoastal waterway/Inner Banks, only 1 1/2 hour drive from Manteo and OBX. The little Blue House of hunting and fishing - Belhaven a Sportsman’s paradise from duck, bear, and deer hunting to crabbing, flounder fishing or gigging to a variety of fish species year around. A two minutes walk from the house you can enjoy shopping and dining, visit the marina for the sunset. The space The Little Blue House by the Pungo River is a historical home in the heart of the town of Belhaven. Guests will have access to the left side of the house, which is a separate/private part of the house. featuring patio space, private entry, comfortable sitting room and kitchen "essentials." Most essential is the coffee maker, complete with tea, coffee pods, half and half (in fridge), sugar and sweeteners. There is also a small microwave and a mini refrigerator for your use. There is no kitchen sink or range. In addition the living spaces are decorated with coastal themes, pictures as well as taxidermy which gives the home a unique coastal experience. The guests private coastal inspired sitting room with television has a fire-stick with access to your streaming subscriptions. WiFi is available and password will be provided at check-in. The bedroom has a very comfortable King Size bed. There is no TV in the guests bedroom, but gets good internet service if you want to bring an ipad. Take a shower in the guest shower. The bathroom has a full size shower with glass doors and it is within your private guest bedroom space with an old fashioned pocket door leading into the bathroom. Heating and Cooling comes from the main part of the house and is generally set at 68 degrees. If you want / need space hotter or cooler, please let me know before check-in.....has to be adjusted in Main Living space. Guests also have access to the shared screened in patio space at the front of the house decorated with a 10.5 feet blue Marlin and a wonderful fire-pit at the back of the house. I have created a comfortable space for hunters, fishermen or guests looking for a quiet get-away. Plenty of space to store your bounty or gear. Guests are 2 minutes walk from the heart of the Town of Belhaven. I am available to make suggestions on where to dine, shopping or closest boat ramps! Guest access It is separate/private part of the house. Right now - guest access will be issued a key. Guests will be told where the key is the morning of their arrival. Other things to note The Little Blue House sets back from the road. Second house on right after light - Once you pass the light, make sure to look to the right of the road for the only Blue House on the block. Parking is Street parking only, in front of the house. Parking space is generally not a problem, just please do not block neighbors driveway. If you are bringing a boat on trailer, please let me know in advance so that I can arrange space in front of the house.
