La Petite Forge de Buffon welcomes you to its two self-catering cottages on the banks of the River Armançon. Each gîte is equipped with a television, kitchen and high-speed WiFi. You can enjoy evenings in front of the fire, or go boating, canoeing, cycling or walking. In fine weather, you can also take advantage of the Prieuré de Buffon swimming pool. Get ready to escape to a peaceful, natural and historic setting! The space Gîte for 4 to 6 people, on the water's edge in a large 3-hectare wooded park in a former 18th century forge built by Georges-Louis LECLERC, Comte de BUFFON (French naturalist, mathematician, biologist, cosmologist, philosopher and writer 1707 - 1788). The former workers' building has been converted into 2 adjoining gîtes. This advert only concerns the Petit Gîte (sleeps 4 to 6), each with its own entrance and independent living area. If you love walking or boating (boats and floating pontoons are available), fishing, sightseeing, free-range chickens (and their fresh eggs), this is the gîte for you!
