This comfortable, mid-century 3 Bed, 2 bath home is 4 minutes from historic Stone Ridge, close to breweries, restaurants, rail trails, Kingston, Mohonk and more. We have a great open plan in the living area, light on 3 sides, a wood stove, and year-round hot tub. The outdoor area is open, flat and huge. The lower level has a home theatre, ping pong table, daybed, desk area and a full bath. The space Welcome to the perfect getaway! Creatively designed by an interior designer our mid-century ranch is on a dead end street away from main roads and traffic, but close to town. Enjoy a meal around the beautiful live-edge kitchen island, the dining area,or outside on the deck. Hang with family and friends in the open plan living room, and prepare a meal together in the well-appointed kitchen while enjoying the view through the huge picture window of wildlife in the large back yard. The house is always bright due to 3 exposures. For comfort on warm days, we have central AC and to stay cozy in the winter a wood-burning stove (and heating throughout). There are 3 bedrooms on the main level: Bedroom 1 - The ’sun room’- 2 exposures, a queen bed, armoire with drawers and shelves, and hanging hooks. Bedroom 2: We call this the ‘bento room’. It has double sliding doors, a double bed, a closet and a desk. The window overlooks the backyard. Bedroom 3: ‘the zen room’. Queen bed, nightstands with drawers, hanging hooks and a bench for suitcases and more. The main level bath has a tub/shower combo and double trough sink. The lower level has a big comfy sofa and a large screen projector where you can stream Netflix, Hulu, Max, and YouTube. There is a ping pong table and a twin daybed as well. There is lots of open space there for projects or games. The house is designed for comfort, with good quality mattresses, linens and towels throughout. The backyard is large and level with shade trees and a wooden platform that is great for yoga. A corn hole game is available as well. The deck has an extendable table, string lights, and a fabulous grill for al fresco meals. The bluestone patio has a comfy sofa for napping or reading, and additional seating, as well as a propane fire pit to warm up with on chilly evenings (Sunsets here range from fantastic to mind-blowing) The seasonal hot outdoor shower is lovely to use and next to the 4 person hot tub. The area is perfectly located minutes from the conveniences of town (food shopping, pharmacy, wine shop) as well as activities and restaurants. We are 5 minutes from rail trails for easy hiking and biking. Close to Hasbrouck House, Innes, Arrowwood Brewery, and more. Want cool shopping, art galleries and restaurants? We are 18 minutes from Kingston, 13 minutes from a pool. 20 minutes from New Paltz, near Lake Minnewaska for swimming and hiking, and next to Mohonk for hiking. We are 50 minutes from several major ski areas. Pet notes... Smaller dogs are allowed with prior approval from Host or Co-host. pet fee: $100 per dog (2 max) pet agreement: 1) Please never leave your dog unattended, loose in the house. 2) Please keep them off furniture or cover with sheets / blankets to protect furniture. 3) Please make sure to clean your pups paws off before coming inside, especially with wet weather. 4) Please make sure to clean up after your dog's bathroom breaks. 5) By booking with us, that means you agree to these rules. our neighborhood is a great area for walks, with or without your dog! Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and property (except storage shed). back yard, hot tub, outdoor shower, grill, gas firepit etc all for guest use. Other things to note If you are coming for a special occasion, let us know! We are happy to help set something up for your arrival. Just a note that we do not permit parties or events at the house.
