Please note that a locked storage shed on the property and a locked cabinet inside the cottages are not accessible to guests. Other things to note Fire Pit & Open-Air Burning Rules Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, but must follow all local fire regulations. * No permit is required for open-air burning between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM, provided all municipal fire safety guidelines are followed. * From April 1 to October 31, open-air burning is prohibited between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. * Small fires used strictly for cooking or warmth are permitted during daytime hours. * No fires of any kind are permitted during a municipal fire ban, burn restriction, or emergency fire order, regardless of the time of day. * Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished before leaving the area or retiring for the night. Guests are responsible for complying with all local fire regulations during their stay. Please bring bug spray, especially during warmer months. This is cottage country and winter conditions can include snow and ice buildup on the driveway. By booking, guests acknowledge responsibility for their own safety and actions while on the property. The cottage is on a well system and the water is potable. Some guests notice a different taste, so you may prefer to bring your own drinking water. The EV charger on the property uses a 14-50 connector. When booking both cottages, all outdoor amenities, including the dock, hot tub, and surrounding space, are for your group’s use. Outdoor furniture is unavailable from November to April due to winter conditions. Other amenities such as the BBQ and firepit may also be unavailable depending on weather. Our property is continuously being upgraded. You may notice minor differences between the listing photos and what is present during your stay. Home Notice While we take great pride in maintaining the property and respond to maintenance issues as quickly as possible, this is still a home with hundreds of appliances, fixtures, and amenities. On rare occasions, unexpected equipment failures can occur during a stay. If something isn’t working properly, please let us know right away. We’ll make every reasonable effort to repair or replace the item as quickly as possible. Please note that certain specialty items or parts may require ordering and cannot always be replaced the same day. We do not have public waste removal. Guests are required to remove all garbage they bring. Instructions will be provided, and the local disposal site is located nearby. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may include an additional fee. Our cleaning team operates on a strict schedule between guests, and delays can impact their ability to prepare the property. Late check-out without prior approval will be charged at $10 per 10 minutes. Reservations are subject to review based on profile history, ratings, and overall fit. Guests with lower ratings or limited history may be declined, and new profiles may be subject to additional screening before a reservation is confirmed. A security deposit may be required.
