Positioned on the southeastern shore of Windermere, the Lake Cruises, Lakeside, The Aquarium of The Lakes, and The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are less than a mile away. You can sail from Lakeside to Bowness on Windermere, Brockhole and Ambleside. Hawkshead and the popular Grizedale forest are both around 10 minutes in the car. The apartment also has shared use of the mansion’s extensive, well-tended gardens. On sunny days, head outside and soak up the views across the lawns; a perfect place for a picnic with a morning coffee, G&T or a bottle of wine or go for a dip in the Lake if you are brave enough!
