Meet Maggie May, the cutest 1850s miners cottage.

Maggie May is the cutest little 1850's miners cottage located in a quiet Street and is close to Ballarat CBD, Sovereign hill and the Ballarat Wildlife Park. She is newly renovated, whilst retaining her traditional and charming authentic self she has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. By day enjoy in friends, couples or family fun time in a game of backyard finska, by night chats and giggles by the fire pit or watch your favourite Netflix series and then cozy up in a comfortable bed. The space Maggie May is a wee little thing!!! Master bedroom: there is room for storing clothes in a chest of drawers. If you wish to hang clothes there is a hanging rack in the laundry. There is also a TV mounted in the corner if guests wish to watch tv. The bed is queen size, the is super comfy and is made up with quality adairs bedding and a quality quilt/doona. 2nd bedroom: there is room to store clothes in our very funky ‘mustard’ brand locker. Once again if you wish to hang clothes you can use the hanging rack in the laundry. The bed is double size and has the same high quality mattress and adairs (different style of course) bedding as the master bedroom. The fire place should not be lit as the chimney is blocked at the top. Lounge room: the lounge room has the reverse cycle heating/cooling controller attached to the wall for easy access. The TV runs Netflix. Inside the tv unit you can find games and toys - we ask that they are packed away after use please. Kitchen: we have a pretty good supply in the pantry for guests to help themselves to during their stay. We provide a basic breakfast and teas and coffee including a coffee pods machine. Laundry: we have a washing machine and supplies for guests. There is also an air drying rack and a clothes rack for hanging shirts etc. Bathroom: towels etc are provided as are shampoo, body wash, etc. Some people could find the toilet to be a tight squeeze as Maggie May is little! Outdoors: there is a deck with coffee table and chairs and a fire pit. We provide some fire wood. Infants: provided for guests is a baby gate, portacot and bedding, travel change mat for floor, high chair and baby bath. Guest access Guests can access the entire property. We do keep a couple locked cupboards in our laundry for supplies. Other things to note We have a baby gate available for guests to set up for the stairs down to the office. We are child friendly but we do have some decor around that could be within reach but leave it to guests discretion on whether they think they need to move items out of reach to avoid breakages. Wood for the fire pit can be purchased locally from service stations.
