Cosy cottage with log burner

Situated on the Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk, our cosy cottage is an ideal base for hikers or families wishing to enjoy The Lake District. Our cottage sits on a quiet row of terrace housing in the picturesque town of Cleator, with free on street parking to the front and a communal car park to the rear. Close to the heart of The Lake District and within easy reach of the Western Wainwright walks. 4 miles - St Bees 5 miles - Whitehaven 5 miles - Ennerdale Water 26 miles - Keswick The space After visiting the lakes, enjoy a meal in the cosy dining area and then sit back and relax in front of the log burner. Our lovely 2 bedroom mid terrace cottage is equipped with a full kitchen and everything you need. The bathroom has a spacious double waterfall shower. Upstairs you will find a main bedroom with a comfy double bed and a guest bedroom with two single beds. Built in the 1800's, the period cottage was fully renovated by ourselves in 2021, restoring some of the beautiful original features. We've had a brand new cottage front door and windows fitted in June 2024. The Christmas tree is up for winter 2024 and as a treat we've added Sky Movies for all bookings in December and January! Guest access Guests will have sole access to the entire property. It is a cosy, quiet, safe and private space to enjoy a break away. We want your stay with us to be as relaxing as possible, so we have a late check out time of 11am. Other things to note We are dog friendly, but our cottage is not suited to more than two medium-sized or one larger dog per stay.
