The Loft at Foxfoot Farmette

Immerse yourself in Leelanau County in a private, serene garage loft on a charming working farmette. The flat is ideal for 1-2 guests and features the comforts of home: wifi, smart TV, air conditioning, queen-sized bed, full kitchen, and well-equipped bath. Foxfoot Farmette is centrally located in Leelanau County just six miles from Lake Michigan, minutes from Glen Lake, and close to hiking, vineyards, bike trails, Sleeping Bear Dune Lakeshore, and 15-30 minutes from all the Leelanau favorites. The space The farmette is a five acre parcel featuring a small mixed fruit orchard, a large vegetable garden, a field of lavender, a pasture for our flock of hens, a wildflower meadow, and three lively pups. The loft was built in 2015 for the former owner's mother, who spent three summers with her tending to the property. The loft studio has a full kitchen and bath, a queen sized bed, air conditioning and is centrally located in Leelanau county. The space is very quiet and secluded. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the studio, so please consider this before booking. Guest access Guests have access to the second floor studio loft which is accessed through a private entry behind the garage. There is a small private patio with two outdoor chairs behind the loft. Guests are welcome to use our grill, hammock, and fire pit in the yard. Please know that our farmette is very active with family and friends visiting much of the summer. Once you are in the studio, it's very quiet, but the property is active with people, 3 (friendly) farm dogs, and the neighbor's rooster an guinea hens. We have a fenced and gated yard for the dogs, so we just ask that guests be mindful to close the gate when coming and going. Other things to note The Loft at Foxfoot Farmette is very quiet and private, but it's located on an active property. Walking down a gravel walkway and climbing a flight of stairs is required to access the loft. If you need anything during your stay, please don't hesitate to ask, as our goal is to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The closest beach is Bohemian Beach on Good Harbor and is a quick 9 minute drive!
