Thanks to the elevation and cool mountain climate, it's rarely needed. Open the windows during the day, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and expect cool evenings year-round. Even in the middle of summer, many guests find themselves reaching for a sweatshirt or cozy blanket after sunset. ⸻ Security Cameras For the safety of our guests and property, exterior security cameras are located at the home's entrances and record 24/7. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private outdoor areas. ⸻ Mountain Road Information Part of the adventure is getting here. The final two miles of the drive are steep, rocky, and unpaved mountain roads. A 4WD vehicle is required from October through May and strongly recommended year-round.
