Cottage in Diamond Point

Small home, big memories. Our family has made many memories at this unique and family-friendly lakefront cottage. From morning breakfast on the deck, afternoon swimming off the docks to roasting smores at the fire pit, and star gazing on the boat house. This is our escape that we wish to share with you. Humble, simple living with 180-degree lake views. The biggest decision you will have to make is "do we go to bed early to get up and enjoy the water or star gaze all night? Not an event property The space Location is Bolton Landing, I don’t know why AB&B is forcing the address to diamond point. This is a small home, not a big lakefront home with oversized rooms. We have three 10x10 rooms with queen size beds. Important note: no pets and no events of any kind at this property. The bathroom has a steam shower (steam then a swim in the lake is the best). This is a corner lot, so you have the lake on two sides of the house. We start our mornings on our upper patio and do our morning readings. Then lunch on the lower patio, a boat ride, and then BBQ and enjoy the view you see on the cover at a large outdoor table. Finally, at night we make our way to the boat house and just sit, drink some wine and take it all in while the kids talk at the firepit. I love waking my kids up late ( the early a.m. ) when the stars are all out. We lay on the boat house deck and counted shooting stars (my girls remember every night we have done this). Please know that we are new at this. This is our home away from home, our humble retreat. My wife and I are simple people; we own The Chateau On The Lake restaurant and Inn located in town; we grew up here and are now opening restaurants in FL, so we don't spend as much time here. We have thought hard and decided to allow guests to have their small families enjoy our little Peace of Heaven. Guest access We have one bedroom locked off where we put belongings, which leaves you with three small queen-sized bedrooms. We also lock off the garage for storage. This property is not a wedding property or event property it’s a small community of neighbors that respect on another as well as respect the local town guidelines, we are not a commercial property. There is also a dock slip for a boat up to 28 feet (it will hang off a bit of over 26). Other things to note Enjoy the steam room. If it triggers a "flush," text me, and I'll explain. This property is not zoned for events. Our town officials very strict and this is a residential property. No events of any kind. The property house sleeps 6. In the event you wish to invite a family over for a BBQ you’re welcome to do that, but it’s important to know that this is not a party event home. It’s our home for you to enjoy and make memories.
