“Home with a View” - 5 Minute Walk to Eastsound

Spectacular views of Fishing Bay from the deck, living room and primary bedroom. A 5 minute walk to all of Eastsound's attractions, including public waterfront access. Home renovated with everything new interior - all new appliances, plush carpet, etc. A chef’s kitchen outfitted with all new/needed items. Sleeps 6 adults or 4 adults (2 King bedrooms) and 3 children (2 pullout sofas in same room). New Weber gas grill on deck. Guests get an owner 'Favorites' binder list of all the best on Orcas. The space This is a beautiful home with high end touches. The view immediately refreshes. Everything has been created to deliver comfort and a wonderful respite for guests. It is a newly remodeled home so we are not allowing pets at this time. Guest access This is your home while you are staying here. It’s all yours. Other things to note We are a 5 minute walk from beachfront access at Eastsound Waterfront Park (see photos!) The parking area does not accommodate trailers. It would be too difficult to turn around and back the trailer out. As a coffee lover, I wanted to provide 3 ways to make your coffee to meet your need: brewed using a quality Bonavita 5 c maker, a French press or a pour over, utilizing a gooseneck electric teakettle. Tailor your coffee grind for your favorite method. (We also have various teas available). In the Guest binder, I also have the website of the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce that is a great up-to-date resource for all the activities/events happening while you are here. Be sure to access this info! We have a gas fireplace that heats in the living room. Very toasty! There’s a remote that turns it on and off and manages the heat/flame. It’s next to the tv on the shelf. Looks different from a tv remote. Just press the screen. There’s a slight delay for it to come on and make changes. We have a whole new and powerful heater system and a generator that automatically kicks in if the power goes out. I can also help you with Ferry reservations! It’s a lot to navigate and I can assist with a step-by-step process. Don’t hesitate to ask! We have bins clearly marked for Recycling in the laundry room. Geer Lane is a steep but short road up to the house. It can be walked. It’s why the view is so fantastic at the house! I have a wonderful masseuse who is located a 5 minute drive away.
