Perfect for an extended weekend or week away we welcome you to our fully self-contained, one-bedroom cottage, located in sentimental 'old' Quinns Rocks. Private access through the cottage gate in front of your own parking bay. Sink into the sofa, enjoy breakfast in the nook under the dappled light of the stained glass window, wine around the fire pit, and coffee on the verandah. A base to re-energise or re-vitalise your wanderlust. The space Our cottage is set in a private area of our garden and was borne from renovating the old garden shed. We have put much thought into our cosy space to provide a relaxing holiday vibe with enough space for you to completely unpack and neatly stow away your clothes and luggage. Pride of place in the bedroom is a cast iron comfortable queen-size bed, in style with many Australian farm shearing sheds of by-gone eras, with easy access to a lovely ensuite which is tucked behind a sliding door. We have provided the essentials in the kitchen: microwave convection oven, fridge, and hotplate so you can cook up a storm at breakfast or dinner and added a washing machine which is neatly tucked away behind the cabinetry. One of our favourite features is the breakfast nook which allows dappled light in, through a beautiful stained glass window. The sofa is divine to sink into for unwinding in front of the TV or reading a book on a rainy day. Display cabinets in this area give an added 'homely' feel and offer softer lighting in the evenings, while you relax. Guest access You'll enter through the cottage gate which is in front of your own private parking space. The verandah is furnished with a table and chairs where you can enjoy a wine and cheeseboard as the sun descends in the evening, or where you can sit in the morning whilst you enjoy your first coffee for the day. Descend the stairs to the left for a larger space, partitioned by a sleeper fence specially created for you, to sit around the fire-pit in cooler months, near our favourite feature, the Indian balcony gate.
