Located in a hidden corner of the owners' 40 acre smallholding, the cottage offers the tranquility of the countryside with panoramic postcard picture views. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues due to steep narrow steeps. The space The cottage was originally the milking parlour for the 300 year old farm. It was converted by the owners approx 10 years ago but still retains some of its original charm (exposed stone walls, exposed rustic beams). Guest access Private fenced yard with fire pit and seating area. Private covered decking leading from backdoor of cottage. Perfect for shelter from the rain/ sun while sitting outdoors. Enjoy access to our own private river with approx 1000 metres of river frontage. Perfect for fishing enthusiasts (brown trout) or for walking the dog. Other things to note Dogs are very welcome. No limit on the number of dogs. You have access (short walk through our field) to our own, private, tree lined river frontage. Ideal for dog walking and perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Access can (at times) be a bit wet and muddy so suitable footwear advised. The cottage is strictly non-smoking.
