The Dark Sky Dome

Stay in the largest Geodesic Dome in Scotland situated in the heart of the Carrick Forest within the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park. It is an ideal getaway for those wanting to experience the wilds of South West Scotland whilst having the full comforts of home. The space The Dome is open plan with a sealed shower room toilet inside. There are 2 mezzanine nets which are accessed via a spiral staircase to relax on and watch the stars from on a clear night. Other things to note The Dome has a strict shoes off policy. No pets are permitted at this location due to the effects they have on the wildlife. Due to the rural location of the Dome a car is required to reach the Dome. Airports : Glasgow Prestwick (45minute) Glasgow International (1h 15 mins) Car hire is available at both Airports.
