A 55” Smart TV will keep you company or bring a partner or friend and use the comfortable pull out couch as a second bed. We are here to help you enjoy your time, and also give you space to have a retreat of mind, body and soul. Escape the city and enjoy the serenity of Evergreen, Colorado. We live in a beautiful corner of the town surrounded by wilderness. The fully furnished, fully equipped studio you'll stay in is 480 sq ft and completely private for you including a patio overlooking the valley that faces away from our house. Our house is also on the property, so we are available should you need anything at all. The studio gets sunshine most the hours of the day because it has three patio style doors with room darkening privacy shades. At night it stays dark because we do not have street lights. Make yourself at home! Relax and recharge in a beautiful mountain setting! You have a dedicated parking spot for up to two vehicles - all wheel or 4-wheel drive required in winter months. You have a full kitchen including a fridge, microwave, conventional oven, and electric stove to cook meals. We provide cookware and dishware for you including pots, pans, bakeware, cups, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, wine key, can and bottle openers. We also have coffee, tea and various other snacks for you to have free of charge. We'll make sure you have towels to shower and you can use any of the toiletries in the bathroom. The shower head is very high so our tall friends can enjoy a comfortable shower. Please be mindful of water usage as we are on a well system on the property. We have broadband internet with good speeds for both up- and downloading. On the 55” 4K TV with Roku we have Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus and Apple TV already logged in. If you have other services you prefer, you are welcome to log into your own accounts. If you bring your laptop you can connect via HDMI, and you can also screen cast to the TV. Please do be patient if it's not quite as fast as your city fiber optic speeds. We both work from home a lot using data for streaming, zoom meetings, etc and haven't had any issues as all. Online gaming may not be well supported. We do not game so we don't know. We have all the hardware you need to safely enjoy legal cannabis, including pipes, papers, dab rigs, and a torch. Just bring the cannabis (and grab some butane if you’re dabbing). We air out the space in between guests so that it doesn't smell like cannabis constantly, and we can easily remove the hardware if you’re not interested in this amenity or have children staying with you. There is a pellet stove to create ambience and keep you warm in the winter, as well as a baseboard heater with a thermostat. We have two 40lbs dogs that are very sweet, Cedar and Fjordi. They may bark when you arrive but they won't be able to leave the yard so they will not come close to you. We are happy to introduce you to them if you like dogs, and they'd love to meet you! Otherwise they will not be a bother to you or in your space at any time. Lauren is a very open-minded queer musician and sound healer. She offers sound treatments to the guests at the studio for a discounted price. Natalie loves community and is fluent in Spanish. Her favorite pastime is growing food and flowers, and making beautiful bouquets for the people around her. We both love the outdoors and have lots of recommendations of places to hike in the Evergreen area. Guest access You'll have access to your personal studio and patio. Other things to note Our driveway is a little steep (about 15° pitch). It is easily passable all year long, but we want you to know. Take it at about 10mph and there will be no slippage. There are not street lights the roads coming up to our house. We love this about our neighborhood but it is important to keep in mind. Arriving before dark is preferable.
