Relax, unwind and get away from it all at this peaceful, traditional cottage. Enjoy a rest with your family, and friends. Suitable for 2 couples, or parents with children. Taddington is a beautiful, un-spoilt, rural village in the perfect location, with Bakewell, Chatsworth, Buxton, and Monsal Trail nearby. The friendly, local public house is only a few steps away and serves great, traditional food! The space Beautiful, traditional, 300 year old, spacious 2 bedroomed cottage. Front stable door, opens directly into fully beamed lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, wood burner & TV. Dining room with table and chairs, pine dresser and feature fireplace. Wi-fi. Open stairs to 1st floor bedrooms and bathroom. Country style kitchen area, with oven, and kitchen equipment. * Please note there a some low ceilings to avoid! Separate stone bricked utility room/pantry with side door access, microwave, Tassimo coffee maker and fridge. This also doubles up as a great boot room. Upstairs an extra large double bedroom with large, feature beam, wooden floorboards, chill out seating, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. Twin bedroom with 2 single beds, full length mirror and double wardrobe. Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, mirror, heated towel rail and storage area. Open front shingled area is un-fenced, suitable for dogs to roam, complete with table and chairs with hillside views. (It is a public footpath, it is kept accessible.) There is no rear garden to the property. There's plenty of parking, it is roadside, please be considerate to our neighbours. Guest access Guests have access to all areas. Other things to note Due to it's rural location, in can be challenging to find. Please note it is virtually opposite The Queens Arms public house Main Road, on the corner of Hyde Lane and Main Road, Taddington. Parking is roadside, not on the public footpath at the front of the cottage. Parking is not reserved, but there is plenty of availability. (Just be considerate to our neighbours by not blocking driveways)
