Our Studio was created with convenience and a good night's sleep in mind. No matter if you are visiting family and friends nearby, travelling for work or looking to explore Perth, our Studio is the perfect base. It is located in a leafy, quiet neighbourhood in close proximity to hospitals, UWA and Kings Park, as well as only 6km from Perth's CBD, which can be reached by Bus or Train (Shenton Park Station). Free street parking is available. The space Our Studio is a 1-room apartment with a queen bed, with everything you need for your stay. We have recently added a cozy 1.5 seater couch for added comfort, no matter if this reading a book, watching TV or doing absolutely nothing. The place has a modern kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. While you can't cook up a storm, there are some great restaurants and cafes nearby (have a look at our Guidebook for some ideas). The workspace with monitor is perfect to catch up on those emails! The Studio is an ideal base for exploring Perth and coming and going with ease. It’s comfortable for downtime between adventures, but not intended for guests looking to stay indoors for the duration of their stay. Guest access While we live in the main house at the front, the Studio gives you privacy with your own, secure entrance (via the rear laneway). The studio, including the entrance, is not shared with anyone and is separate to the main house. The studio is on the first floor, accessible via a set of stairs, so this should be considered in the context of mobility and/ or heavy luggage. A hand-torch is available should you venture out after dark and prefer some additional lighting. Other things to note We have tried our best to set up the Studio as environmentally friendly as possible, and continue to look for ways to improve this. We love guests who appreciate this and are always open for suggestions! With this in mind, please use the A/C mindfully and don't keep it running 24/7. It is set up with automated temperature control that keep the place at a consistent, comfortable temperature, so you might notice it turning on and off. Please do not unplug the device but let us know should this not work for you during your stay and we can adjust the settings.
