It's private with the only shared space being the laundry room that's available from the door in the kitchen of the studio and the locked door in the home. The bedroom and living room have their own separate A/C units, which comes in handy if you want the room to be nice and cold while you're enjoying a meal cooked in the kitchen. The bathroom can be found on the opposite side of the bedroom's door. Guest access The studio is a completely separate with it's own entrance! Guests will not have access to the backyard, pool or house except for the laundry room which can be accessed from inside the studio.
