Little House with Private Patio and Hot Tub
Little House with Private Patio and Hot Tub
Description
Our guesthouse is located on historic Highway 28, also known as the Don Juan de Onate Trail, which connects El Paso and Las Cruces. It is one of the area's most scenic routes. You can find breweries, multiple wineries, and the famous Chopes restaurant and bar along the route. The highlight of the 10-mile drive from our little house in San Miguel to historic Mesilla takes you through unique canopies of pecan trees, in the largest pecan-producing county in the nation. The space The little house now has a private courtyard and a two-person hot tub, making it the perfect space for those seeking some peace and quiet. The space has a queen bed, a twin bed in the loft, a sitting area, and a full kitchen and bath. To access the twin bed in the loft, you must be comfortable climbing a ladder, which has a weight limit of 100 lbs. The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, small stove, coffee maker and microwave. We provide coffee and tea. Guests have access to a shared patio space, which includes a table, gas grill and a fire pit—a perfect place for star-gazing! In addition, we have plenty of room for your pets to enjoy. Supervised pets are welcome to be off-leash. Guest access Please avoid using a Garmin for navigation to our property. Several people have told us it led them astray. Google Maps seems to be the most accurate. This is the address you should be using: 19514 NM-28 La Mesa, NM 88044. If GPS leads you astray, we are the first house north of Avenida del Panteon. We have red lights on our fence and gate. When you arrive, please drive through the black gate (you will need to get out and punch in the security code 5555* in the box to the left). Be aware that our electronic gate does not have a sensor to detect your vehicle. It is important that once you open it, you move through it without hesitation. We have designated guest parking next to the Little House, in front of the tree at the end of the pavement. Look for the sign that says "Little House Guest Parking." Also, when you leave, you will need to manually open the gate (punch in the code) as we don’t have an automatic opener---sorry for the inconvenience! To do this, go through the side wooden gate to access the key pad.
