Access the Lake from across the road if you fancy a swim! I've recently switched from co-hosting this property to putting this on my own listing, hence there is limited availability at the minute. The place has had almost 5 stars for the last 5 years and as you can see I’m a superhost. The space Lake View was developed from the outbuildings of the manor house once belonging to Lord Lonsdale. Traditional lakeland stone and slate blends into the local landscape and forms part of a small and exclusive gated community. The property is located between Ambleside and Windemere/Bowness, and is the perfect spot for a Lake District holiday retreat. There are amazing walks from the door. There is your own private parking bay, as well as a car park for other guests. The property is three stories, with oak entrance and flooring. Muddy boots can be left in the cupboard under the stairs. Leftward leads you into the first bedroom, spacious with built in mirrored wardrobes which are neatly tucked leaving plenty of room for the double bed. The ensuite has squared tiled walls that surround the contemporary shower, toilet and sink. Take the staircase to the first floor, a second set of stairs continues ahead, whilst to the left is a mini mezzanine. Lake view is fitted with a bespoke Majik House smart lighting system, designed to enhance the atmosphere, relax the senses and match your mood. Glazed double doors draw light through into the bright and spacious open plan kitchen, diner and lounge. To the front leafy views over to the lake, landscape gardens and the distant hills. Continue upward to the top level of Lake View, spacious and serene, the second bedroom is cleverly laid out with lots of built in storage. Flush to the wall, a fitted wardrobe on the left, take a step up which leads to a tiered seating level by the broad window.From here you can really enjoy the picturesque lake view. The family bathroom is outside the bedroom. For a breath of fresh air, take the back door out onto the neat gravelled area before climbing the stairs up to the elevated terrace onto a thicket of woodland. At the end of each day, where better to unwind and relax than here. In the long summer evenings enjoy al fresco with your family and friends and enjoy the amazing views of lake Windemere.
