Dani and Julie welcome you to Serenity Fields Farm! Relax away from the city on our safe and cozy ten-acre farm. We are a pet-free, smoke free home. Come join us at Serenity Fields Farm! The space We offer a private room in our home when our daughter is away at college. The room is in a secluded area of the home with a private bathroom right across the hallway that is yours to use and the bedroom and bathroom have a locked hallway separating it from the rest of the home. There are occasionally people camping outside of the house or staying in the upstairs airbnb. Basic necessities are available which include sheets, towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, and soap. The room has one double bed, chair, dresser and night stand, mini fridge/freezer and microwave. Satellite wireless Internet is available. If you enjoy animals you can find horses, cows, cats, dog, rabbits, pig, chickens, sheep and alpacas. In the summer you can enjoy the vegetable, flower and herb gardens. None of the animals can be heard from inside the home. There is plenty of off-street parking on our large driveway so your car is safe and protected. The vast majority of our guests love the vibe we offer, but we have had a few low reviews so I want to make sure and set the expectation so we attract the right crowd for what we offer. This is not a pristine 5 star hotel, this is a family farm and the airbnb rooms are within our family farm home. We have had beautiful experiences with our guests. Last Easter a guest that has returned for four years joined us for Easter dinner. Our guests who stay long term become like family. Of course, some guests just like to keep to themselves and we rarely see them and that is fine too. We want you to know we are a busy family with full time jobs in addition to our farm work. As a working farm, especially in the spring and summer our mudroom may be filled with alpaca fleece and our kitchen table might be filled with herbs and other projects. In the summer we run six weeks of farm camps where there are children running around the farm from 9am -2:00pm. Also, being an old farm house the pipes from the upstairs bathroom make it so you can hear when the bathroom water is used. If you are sensitive to sounds we are happy to welcome you, we just ask that you give us a heads up so we can avoid using the bathroom at the hours you need silence. Your room has a microwave and fridge and a private entrance so if you don't want to see farm projects that you experience as clutter please feel free to use the private entrance and close the divider accordian door between your wing and the rest of the house. We don't have indoor pets and we hate bugs or rodents indoors so we made every attempt to keep the house fly, ant, mice, etc free. If at any time you see any pests indoors we want to know to address them. We want you to be happy with your stay and receive the serenity of the farm. Also, please let me know if you are sensitive to sounds as water in the pipes from the upstairs bathroom can be heard in the airbnb and we'd like to avoid the bathroom during your quiet hours.
