Disconnect to reconnect in this one-of-a-kind retreat, with seasonal activities, sauna, and magic in every season. The space The Big Dipper Dome is a cozy, self-sufficient geodesic dome perched beside Bang’s Creek, offering soothing sounds of water and a stunning natural backdrop. With no light pollution, you’ll have an unmatched view of the stars overhead. The Dome Includes: -Sleeps up to 6: 1 double bed and a couch made of 4 single mattresses -Indoor woodstove (firewood included) -Propane double-burner stove, BBQ, and fire pit -Basic kitchen setup with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils -Indoor compost toilet as well as outhouse -Spring water provided in large jugs for washing (bring your own drinking water) -No running water, electricity, Wi-Fi, or cell service (connectivity at main lodge or nearby road if needed) -Natural light from bay window + skylight -USB-powered lightbulb and rechargeable power bank Outdoor Features (warmer seasons): -Screened gazebo with patio table and propane stove -Hammocks for lounging Bedding: -Bottom sheets provided. Please bring your own comforters/sleeping bags and pillows. Full linen set available upon request. Access & Parking: -Year-round road access -Park directly next to the dome Note: While the Big and Little Dipper Domes are close in location, full visual privacy is maintained. Other accommodations are located remotely on different parts of the property.
