Welcome to Indigo Hills Eco-Resort Modern, off-grid, eco-friendly cabins situated on the beautiful Bras d' Or Lakes! Just steps away from the beach, with unobstructed views of the lake from inside each cabin. Incredible sunrise, sunsets, and stargazing. Don't forget your swimsuit and waterhoes! outdoor games, SUP boards, kayaks, and campfires on the beach. Each cabin features an open concept design, including a fully stocked kitchen, sleeping area, and bathroom The space SLEEPING AREA: the cabin features 1 comfortable Queen sized bed in an open concept design. Sheets, duvet, and pillows are provided. KITCHEN: Butcher block countertop, black corence granite sink, 2 burner propane cooktop, sink, and mini-fridge. This cabin features matte navy cabinets and accessories with gold pulls and details. For our coffee and tea lovers- we have a stovetop kettle, and french press or pour-over coffee makers in each cabin. Our cabinets are stocked with pots and pans, cookware, dishes, and cutlery. Olive oil, salt, pepper, and basic spices are provided. There is also an outdoor BBQ on each front deck for our guests to use. Small dining table with 2 chairs. BATHROOM: cabin features a full bathroom with a large tiled stand up shower and gold fixtures. Towels are provided. Help us with our commitment to being environmentally friendly by using the provided hooks to hang up your towels to dry between uses. BEACH: You will enjoy being just steps away from the shore of beautiful Bras d'Or Lake as well as stunning views from inside the cabin. If you forget to bring your own beach towels- please use our provided colored beach towels, and NOT the bath towels. Water shoes are recommended if you have them. Water is awesome for swimming and water activities. Guest access Guests have access to their own cabin, patio area, BBQ and chairs. Guests also have full access to the beach. Please be mindful of other guests and keep the grounds clean. The beach has a picnic table, concrete fire pit and benches for guests to use. Other things to note Please remember that we are an off-grid accomodation with a commitment to being sustainable and environmentally friendly on the protected Bras d' Or Lake Biosphere Reserve. Cabins use solar power for lights, electrical outlets and water pump. Please turn off lights when not needed to conserve power for yourself and other guests. We do not have air conditioning. **as of May 2024 we have Starlink Wi-Fi available** We have a gravity fed well on the property. Our land is very high in iron so sometimes the water will have an orange tint. We do not drink the tap water. Water for cooking and drinking is provided.
