Cottage at Flaminga's Place

A very private, peaceful and cosy cottage hidden in the center of Lajes do Pico. Ideal for longer stays so you can cook in. Walking distance to the sea, to whale watching companies, restaurants and shops. A stunning mountain view with sunsets everyday. Ideal for relaxing all year around. Private entrance and access to a car park. One bedroom, living room and kitchenette. Suits one couple and two children or two couples. Alternatively one couple and one or two friends can stay on the sofa beds The space The cottage is in within our private property, just behind our home, in a garden. We are very cleverly hidden away between two main roads in the center of the village. Our garden offers cool shade with lots of trees and grass, a variety of very noisy and busy birds and a beautiful bay and mountain views. If you can find any fruit that is ripe hanging from our trees, your are welcome to eat it. Our garden hosts our 8 🐈‍⬛ You will also find an outdoors lounge space in our pergola, an eating space with shade and a sunning area on the grass behind the trees. At the far end of the garden by the pergola, you will find a staircase leading to our bird eye view corner. There you can sit quietly, enjoying a beverage and overlooking the village, the ocean and the mountain.You are welcome to enjoy all of our garden and all the creatures you find in it. We also offer a car rental (Citroen C3) for €50/night insurance included. Guest access Access to the cottage is through a very private entrance through the public car park in the back of village. You will find the steps steep and the path narrow but it is magical too. Other things to note We have very good quality Wi-Fi and the TV is smart so you can enjoy having online access on a big screen. You might be visited by our cats, especially white Lu, but she scares very easily and shouldn´t be a problem unless you forget all the doors and all the windows open. She might think that you are asking her inside. Our dogs, Carlota, Gaspar and Ming, are very gentle pugs which to not have access to the cottage although they might bark briefly if they are startled or if they see you. Petting is very welcome but they can be stinky so wash your hands after. Registration Details Exempt
