Welcome to our lovely cosy home in beautiful Brighton! This sunny charming double bedroom is situated on the first floor. Across the hall is a lovely peaceful veranda to read on, enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the rocking chair. The bathroom is right next door to your room with shower and bath. You will have this to yourself during your stay. We also provide a continental breakfast should you wish. The space This sunny charming double bedroom is situated on the first floor and faces onto the front of our quiet street. The room is spacious with large Victorian sash windows, a comfy double bed, hairdryer, mirror, writing desk, wireless printer and chest of drawers for you to unpack and make yourself completely at home. You will also find towels, toiletries, bedding and extra blankets, plus a coffee and tea making facilities in your room. The bedroom has black out curtains if you want to shut out the light for a lie in. We have plenty of books to borrow and a lovely sunny veranda opposite your bedroom to read on, or to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the rocking chair. The bathroom is right next door to your room on the first floor and consists of toilet, sink, combined shower & bath and heated towel rail. You will have personal use of the bathroom and veranda during your stay. We will be on the second floor above you so you will have the first floor to yourself. We provide a continental breakfast should you want; coffee, tea, juice, milk, butter, jam, cereal and baked goods from the lovely local bakery. We will be on hand to help with anything you may need or if you have any questions about the local area or things to do. Please be aware that although the entrance to our home is on the ground floor, there are stairs to the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. This is a non-smoking home but you are welcome to smoke on the veranda. Fire alarms, carbon dioxide alarms are fitted and free wi-fi is available. Parking is available on our road outside via the pay-by-phone app and comes to around £7 per day. We can send you further info after booking, if you need. Originally part of The Old Bakehouse in 1905, our building has been split into 4 separate dwellings and a small shopfront, ours being the little three-story townhouse to the right of the shopfront. Access to the front door is through an electronic gate at the side of the property. Our home is a restful retreat from a day spent amongst the vibrancy and bustle of Brighton or a walk over the South Downs. The space is ideal for individuals or couples looking to explore our amazing city, hike the countryside, visit country villages or those who are in town for work. Guest access You will have full access to the entire first floor during your stay which includes personal use of the bathroom (right next door to your room) and the veranda (across the hall). The living room will be accessible in the mornings where breakfast will be served between 8 and 10am. We will be on the second floor. We provide a continental breakfast should you wish which includes; coffee, tea, juice, milk, jam, butter, cereal and baked goods. Please do request this in advance of your stay so that we can go shopping! During your stay We will give you space during your stay, but will be available by phone should you have any questions.
